Women's Welcome Club of Lincoln is a friendly, open group which welcomes women of all interests and ages to Lincoln, Nebraska.  The Welcome Club began in 1962 and invites both newcomers and long-established residents to join our organization.

          SEPTEMBER LUNCHEON

          A program for incarcerated people to read and record books for their children.

          September 8 @ 11:30 AM
           

          Menu

          • Greek style all beef meatballs

          For Reservations

          •  Members will be contacted by email or phone for luncheon reservations. Please answer YES or NO to ensure a proper luncheon count.

          • To cancel a reservation, call Bonnie Taubenheim

          • Reservation & Cancellations must be made by 7:00 PM, Wednesday, Sept 2nd , in your name. 

          • If you fail to cancel your reservation, you will be obligated to pay for your lunch. 

          • Reservations are made in your name only - no substitutions please. 

          • Cost of the meal is $17. Please have exact cash or make checks beforehand  payable to WWCL (Women's Welcome Club of Lincoln) 

          • If you want to purchase raffle ticket, it is $1 each.

          • To expedite the registration process, it is preferable to provide a pre-written check to WWCL rather than cash.

          • If you fail to cancel your luncheon reservation, you are obliged to pay for your lunch. Checks can be sent to Julie Wilde (check her address in your book).

          • Reminder:  As stated on page 43 of our Standing Rules, a member with two (2) unpaid lunch debts may not attend until all debts are settled.

          Our Monthly Luncheon is now at Sesostris Shriners Building

          Below are the Directions

          1. The address is1050 Saltillo Road. It is actually a little north of 10th and Saltillo road just east of Shrine Way.

            
          2. If traveling on Saltillo, turn right at the roundabout on 10th and Saltillo Road and take the second exit onto Shrine Way and continue past Rod's Power Sports and Bish's RV until you see the parking lot turn to the RIGHT for the Shrine Building. The building entrance is on the southeast corner, and there is ample parking close to the building.

          3. If you use Highway 77, take age Saltillo Road exit, continue around the curve for about half a mile. Take the second exit on the Saltillo Road roundabout onto Shrine Way and continue past Rod's Power Sports and Bish's RV until you see the parking lot turn on the RIGHT for the Shrine Building.

          MEETING REMINDERS

          • Lunch is serve promptly at 11:30 am, so please be considerate and arrive on time.

          • Please put your cell phone on “Airplane” mode, “Silent” mode or Vibrate before the meeting to show respect for others.

          • Remember to bring your “Best Choice” UPCs to the monthly luncheon. Your labels help feed the hungry through “Food Net”. 

          • Bring your can top tabs to support Ronald McDonald House or drop them to Sue Meyer. (Please see your directory for her address and telephone number)

          • Please make your Newsletter submissions/changes to Carol Zillig no later than the 20th of each month. Publication is on the 25th!

          • Magnetic nametags ($10) can be ordered and must be paid for in advance @ the meeting.

          • Don’t forget to bring your books, puzzles, & DVDs to the Book Table at the meeting! All proceeds go to Ricki’s Readers.
